Sean "Oxymoron" Petrie is a lawyer who is sometimes funny. One day he hopes to be a funny person who is sometimes a lawyer. Ultimately, he'd like to be a writer.
As a joke, Sean was invited to join National Comedy Theatre's cast on April Fool's Day 2001. He has not left.

For the moment, Sean is unemployed and subsists entirely on the free beer he gets after each NCT show. In the past, he earned a living as a law clerk for a federal judge, an attorney for a high-power low-fun intellectual property firm, a Congressional aide, a McDonald's drive-thru clerk and a Care Bear at the Columbus Zoo.

Sean is also an unabashed Patrick Swayze fan.
